After I graduated with an Economics degree, I decided to venture into the world of news. Considering my love for writing and current events, both social and political, it was a perfect match.

At Den of Geek, I optimized articles for search with improved headlines and keyword targeting, leading to high-traffic pieces. I launched and grew the TikTok account to 22K followers, led social coverage for major events like Comic-Con and SXSW, and managed magazine launch campaigns. I also created performance reports, trained editorial staff on audience development strategies, and built and led the social media team.
Business Insider
At Insider, I created and managed content for social platforms, including breaking news and evergreen stories. I packaged videos, designed Instagram story graphics, and optimized posts for engagement. I also monitored performance using tools like Social Flow and Google Analytics to provide insights to editorial teams.
Financial Times
As part of NYU's 2250 Project with the Financial Times, I designed surveys and conducted interviews with U.S. readers to study their news consumption habits. I researched competitor engagement strategies during COVID-19, analyzed shifting audience behaviors, and tested engagement tactics—presenting insights and recommendations to the FT team.
The Tempest
At The Tempest, I recruited mission-aligned sponsors and implemented social media strategies to boost engagement on Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. I promoted the newsletter Need.Want.Love, conducted user research through surveys, and tested social content using A/B strategies to optimize performance.
Express Tribune
I worked here as a sub-Editor and edited and wrote articles on topics ranging from politics, social issues and sports to fun listicles and reviews. Also managed the Blogs Desk’s social media (Facebook and Twitter).
Geo News
Interned at their Web Desk and edited articles to be published on Geo Tv’s websites. Also learned how to monitor breaking news stories and update them on the site as they happened.
